It would seem the "backup classes" update to #PSW app has started rolling out to app store

Now, if you schedule a class at the same time as another class it will be added as a "backup" and indented on your personal schedule.
Additionally, there is a new setting on the settings panel that lets you turn off "Auto Hide" for timeslots. When this option is turned ON, your timeslots will automatically hide when you schedule a class to fill it. If you turn this option OFF you will always see timeslot, allowing you to easily schedule multiple classes at the same time.
By default, hiding is turned on -- because that is how the app currently functions. You will need to enable this feature if you want to always see timeslots.
